Mrs. Archambault joined the PCS
staff in the fall of
2009 as a reading teacher. She has a degree English, with a writing
concentration, from Fairfield
University. After college, she
worked briefly as an insurance underwriter in
Philadelphia
and New Jersey
before moving to Connecticut
with her husband.
She went back to school to get her teaching certification from UCONN in
their teacher certification program for college graduates, and became
certified to teach grades Pre-K through 8 and English in grades 9-12.
Mrs. Archambault went on to get her Master’s degree in Reading and Language Arts
from Eastern Connecticut State University and is currently
working on her Sixth Year in Reading from UCONN. She’s
has been a classroom teacher in grades K, 2, 3, and 5.
She lives in
Pomfret with her husband, Marc, and four children, Molly, Kate, Jack and
Sophie. She also has a goofy dog named Homer and a very
dignified cat named Belle.
In
her spare time, she likes to read, take walks, knit, work in her garden,
and spend time with her family and friends.
