K-Grade 3

My teacher read Pumpkin Heads to us and it was so funny.  They made a snowman out of pumpkins! .....Kindergarten

Grades 4-5

Poppy is back!  Just read Poppy's Return by Avi and it was great....Grade 4

Don't Hurt Laurie by Willow Davis Roberts....This is a story about a girl and her abusive mother.  It tells how she deals with living with her mother and her step-siblings and stepfather and how she escapes Anabell her mother....Penelope, Grade 5

Hoot by Carl Hiaasen...You need to read the book to find out why it is titled Hoot.  Once you get into the book you'll love it.  It was great.  Shaila, Grade 5

The Report Card by Andrew Clements....I like this book because it makes you want to keep on reading and it's very weird how this girl is proud of her bad grades.  It's very interesting. ...Kelly Grade 5

White Fang by Jack London...I would encourage people to read this book if they like wolfs or dogs and can handle reading about death....Chelsea, Grade 5

The Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket... I would recommend this book because it starts a very good series about 3 orphans.  One bad person is after a big fortune and kills a lot of people.  If you don't like sad books I suggest you don't read this book.  Out of the whole series I like the first one the best.....Julia, Grade 5

Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemoney Snicket....I loved these books because they kept my attention the whole time.  Also I never wanted to stop reading them.  I'm on book 6 and I liked all the ones I have read so far......Zachary, Grade 5

The City of Ember by Jeanne Dupreau.....I think this is a wonderful book and you should read it because it will keep your attention and it is very interesting.  It's a wonderful book.....Zachary Grade 5

The Clique ..... I think this is a really good book because it's based on friendship and how people are so desperate to have friends that they pretend to be someone else......Julia Grade 5

Grades 6

Have you read the latest book in the Haddix shadow children series?  It kept me up half the night.  Check out Among the Enemy, you won't be sorry..........Grade 6
