Parent Information
| 1. Homework is given Monday through Thursday nights. Spelling and math quizzes are usually given on Fridays. Weekend homework is to read for pleasure. |
| 2. Tests and work are sent home on Fridays with a letter with class news. At the bottom of the letter is a tear-off to send back on Monday acknowledging that the packet was received. |

Our read aloud right now is Perloo by Avi. It is a fantasy about a rabbit like creature called a Montmer. His name is Perloo. Ask your child to tell you more.

Keep practicing the multiplication facts through 9 tables. Students should be able to complete 100 problems in three minutes. |

Mr. Martel has a NEW GAME for learning your multiplication facts. Go to his kindergarten site and click on the basketball dunking game. You can practice just the facts you are working on this week.
