Your difficulty in finding out info on some of these species highlights one of the problems with relying on common names for researching organisms. This is why scientists use the scientific name when discussing a species - so that we know what species they are referring to - as common names vary from region to region. If you try to do a research search for these species under their scientific names, you will probably find much more information than you have so far.

Good luck with your search!
