Who Am I ? 
Welcome to my "all about me" page. I hope you enjoy learning all about me.
I graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University in 1997 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a concentration in youth and children. However, my true passion and goal was to become an early childhood teacher. I immediately began taking courses to complete my teaching certificate as well as my Master's in Early Childhood Education. I received my teaching certificate in July of 2000 and completed my Master's degree two years later.
I began teaching at Pomfret Community School in August of 2000. I began as a part time preschool teacher and held a position as a teaching assistant in the preschool program as well. I am currently teaching both sessions of preschool.
When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family. I have a 6 year old son and an almost 4 year old daughter. We love to go camping especially on the beach in Maine. My husband and I are both volunteer fire fighters and EMT's. Although I am not as active as I was before I had children I still enjoy helping people in my community.
