Who Am I ? 
Welcome to my "all about me" page.
I graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University in 1997 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a concentration in youth and children. However, my true passion and goal was to become an early childhood teacher. I immediately began taking courses to complete my teaching certificate as well as my Master's in Early Childhood Education. I received my teaching certificate in July of 2000 and completed my Master's degree two years later.
I began teaching at Pomfret Community School in August of 2000. I was a part time preschool teacher and and part time teaching assistant in the preschool program. I now teach a morning and afternoon session of preschool.
When I am not teaching I love spending time with my family. My husband and I have an 9 year old son and a 6 year old daughter. My husband and I both enjoying giving back to our community in our spare time. We are both volunteer Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT's) and firefighters.
When we are not volunteering we love to go camping, hiking and watch our children play soccer or dance.
