Pomfret Community Preschool provides services to children age 3 years to 5 years who live in the town of Pomfret. A portion of the students in each class have been identified with individual learning difficulties. A designated portion of each class is made up of children who are chosen by a lottery system to be peer models for those students who are experiencing difficulty. Our program is designed to assist children in the development of various skills such as language development, social skills, motor skills, early literacy and other early concepts.
Pomfret Community Preschool is an accredited early childhood program. We are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
